The system splits into separate zones. Each zone has a thermal sensor and one to six MPH modules. The sensor needs no power source of any kind — once the set temperature is passed, it triggers suppression on its own. The powder handles classes A, B, C and E, including switchgear up to 40,000 V, and leaves the electronics intact.

You don't pick a model by its name. You pick it by what you're protecting and how large the zone is. The gap between the MPH-2 and the MPH-24 is 25 m² against 75 m² for class A — with seven more models in between.
