The TPS-01T has a compensating pad and a shield over the thermal element, so it survives environments where an ordinary sensor has no business being — mines, chemical works, vehicles, locomotives, conveyor belts. It comes in 72, 93 and 110 °C variants; the version with a signalling channel is designated TPS-01TC.
