Our team

The people behind SAPFIR systems

A small Bratislava firm supplying autonomous suppression across four countries. Management answers the phone themselves — the numbers are below.

Management

Who picks up the phone

The split follows the markets: Slovakia and Czechia, the United Kingdom, and the Austria–Germany–Switzerland region. Call whoever covers your patch and skip a forwarded email.

Each contact goes straight to a person, not to a general inbox. The split is by market — call whoever covers your region.

Technicians

Installation and inspections

Authorised SAPFIR technicians handle both installations and the annual inspections. One suppression lamp takes about 30 minutes; a three-room flat runs to three to five hours. On industrial sites we service every six months.

Martin Hrivnák. — Head of servicing and inspections

Martin Hrivnák.

Head of servicing and inspections

Runs the annual lamp inspections and the six-month industrial service cycle. He has worked on everything from switchboards to furnaces, so on a site visit he will usually tell you straight away where a zone needs splitting and where a single module will do.

Jana Kováčová. — Fire protection designer

Jana Kováčová.

Fire protection designer

Designs how a building is split into suppression zones and works out the coverage from floor area and volume. Her focus is sites where production cannot be shut down and suppression has to work with nobody present.

Tomáš Bednár. — Installation technician — residential

Installation technician — residential

Fits suppression lamps in flats and family houses. A single fitting takes him about half an hour; a three-room flat is an afternoon, sensor testing included.

Peter Ďurica. — Rail machinery technician

Peter Ďurica.

Rail machinery technician

Looks after SAPFIR LOCO systems on tamping machines, ploughs and grinders. He knows why the engine zone needs different modules from an axle gearbox, and what actually survives track vibration.

Lucia Štefániková. — Customer support

Lucia Štefániková.

Customer support

The first person you will speak to. She will ask for the floor area, the ceiling height and what is actually in the room — then either put you through to a technician or start the paperwork for a quote.

Michal Oršag. — Installation supervisor — industry

Michal Oršag.

Installation supervisor — industry

Coordinates installations in halls, warehouses and chemical plants. He plans them to keep the disruption as short as possible, which usually means shutdowns and weekends.

Katarína Vlčková. — Sales manager

Katarína Vlčková.

Sales manager

Takes enquiries from the first site visit through to handover. On larger sites she schedules inspections around planned shutdowns rather than against them.
