An open-plan kitchen and living room in a single space needs more than a lamp sized for one room. The 4A sits between the 2.8 range and the top-end 6A — for cases where one 2.8 is no longer enough and two would be overkill. It triggers the same way: above 72 °C sustained for more than 20 seconds.
