Inspections and servicing
The system is maintenance-free; an inspection is not maintenance. Once a year at home, every 6 months in industry.
The modules are non-pressurised, so there is nothing to top up and no gauge to read. An inspection checks the condition of the sensors, the anchoring of the modules and the tie-in to the alarm line. For suppression lamps once a year is enough — and it is the condition of the twelve-year guarantee. In industry we come every six months, because the environment is different: the KAMIR conveyor tower at Mondi faces frost, wind, rain and summer heat around the clock, and that tells on the hardware sooner than a living room ever will.
