In Ružomberok a conveyor tower burned down while the dry riser was still being coupled to a tanker.
The 2019 conveyor tower fire at SCP Mondi Ružomberok exposed the weakness of a dry riser: it must first be coupled to a fire tanker before any water flows. The tower burned down before that happened. For Štětí we therefore designed waterless autonomous suppression — the modules are already in place, heat fires them, and they wait for nobody and nothing.
Water put out a cable fire. It flooded the shops one floor below and took the CCTV system down for three months.
