A major waste site fire meant damage in the millions and several days of firefighting. We installed the system over the turn of 2016 and 2017. In mid-2017 fire broke out again, in the same buildings — this time with no property damage at all. With waste, that is the whole difference: the material self-ignites, nobody is standing next to it, and what decides the outcome is the first minute, not the response time.
Water put out a cable fire. It flooded the shops one floor below and took the CCTV system down for three months.
